Poems

Its actually quite difficult to write poems,
Probably because they have tendency to rhyme.
Of course they don't have to be like that,
But to write them takes so much time.

One can spend hours in front of a screen,
Or traditionally with paper and pen.
The latter is obviously more laborious,
Especially when writing things over again.

For me I prefer the computer,
With a mistake I can just press delete.
And on the rare occasion I do it first time,
I am really quite proud of my feat.

Tapping the words into the keyboard,
Watching them come up on the display.
Now I've come to a tricky bit,
What rhymes with thermo-nuclear-dynamics?

I've nearly finished my lines of prose,
Its really come out quite fine.
Only one more little piece to do,
And that is to add the last line.
