Title: REM
Type: Novel
Published by: Minerva Press

A lump came to Dr Davenport’s
throat as the blonde’s robe fell open revealing her tantalising
figure. Did this beautiful creature only have one thing in mind?
For Jonathan Davenport, a married
scientist engaged in a mould-breaking project, the dream rapidly becomes
a nightmare. Tracey is found dead, brutally stabbed, and images of the
murder appear on the tape of Dr Davenport's experiments.
Immediately he is the prime
suspect in a bizarre and horrifying mystery where dreams become reality
and videotape records scenes that never took place – or did they?
Read Robert Wassell’s ‘REM’
and discover the ultimate horror awaiting a scientist who finds, like Dr
Frankenstein, that his work has a life of its own....
Well that was the blurb on the
back of the book, and what a book it was. Started in about 1994
and finished after numerous breaks in 1997 and subsequently published by
Minerva Press. You can read more about my publishing
experience, although as far as REM is concerned, I consider it a
learning experience and I am working on much more exciting projects at
the moment, including a screenplay for a future James Bond film, so always
look to the future as you never know what course your life is going to
take.
